First Assembly of God, Perryville is an affiliated church of the General Council of the Assemblies of God, Springfield, MO.

The first outreach of the Assemblies of God in Perryville, MO was in the early 1940's. It's beginnings were humble, home Bible studies continuing until the early to mid 1980's.

The people of the church began meeting in a converted garage building behind what was at the time a KY Fried Chicken franchise. As the church grew, property began to be acquired near what would eventually become Perryville's first highway bypass (MO Highway 51).
In 1991 construction was begun on the present facility and was completed enough for occupancy in early the following year.

The church facility was dedicated to the Lord's work in February, 1992.
First Assembly of God continues as an integral part of the community of Perryville providing ministry without prejudice to whomever has a hunger for the Lord Jesus Christ, and also to those who may pass our way with needs that the church can fulfill.

First Assembly of God is a "people-loving-people" church whose people truly love God.
