The Sacred and the Secular Mar-07-2007
For a number of months and especially these last few weeks, I have been contemplating this phenomenon known as the sacred-secular dichotomy. You might recognize this as the difference between what is labeled as an individual’s spiritual life and life in general, or between what is labeled ‘Christian’ and what isn’t.

The Cross Calls Ashish Joy Jan-11-2007
It seemed like hours but I knew it was only a few minutes. I was crying, wondering what I was supposed to do. It was then that I looked up and saw His loving eyes poring into my soul, into my being. He was speaking to me…

Surrendering It All to God... Indu Shanmugam Jan-04-2007
Sounds simple in words, doesn't it? Yet something believers constantly struggle in. Why do I cling on so fondly to my past? My past consists of bad events, mistakes and regrets. Harbored feelings of anger, bitterness and sorrow has produced a poison or toxin in my mind. I cannot understand why certain things happened. Shine! Sep-12-2006
God’s Word says, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in Heaven.” Though we know that we are to shine as Christians, often it is difficult to know what exactly we are supposed to do in order to shine.

Make It Count Sep-04-2006
Back-to-school Tuesday morning will be here in less that twelve hours and most of us will be returning to the knowledge laden halls of academia with backpacks on our shoulders and ipods in our pockets. While you’re reconnecting with old friends, getting acquainted with new ones, and settling into your new class schedules…don’t forget to make it count.

Nothin' but Heart Sep-02-2006
While initially skimming through the lesson plan for today, I didn’t think much of the topic. How much could possibly be said on a subject like favoritism? Like give me a break! But… how wrong I was! The topic of favoritism tied in with ministry to the poor really bought it home for me. Here are some of the key points.
