My Musical Vision for First Baptist

 I am keenly aware of the importance of music to the worship experience at First Baptist, as it provides both spiritual enrichment and reflection for the congregation. The church's music program has always been one of its defining strengths, and as a congregation, First Baptist has become accustomed to a high quality of music in worship. My goal is to continue the long tradition of excellence which has become part of the First Baptist unique identity. A high quality and engaging music program is critical for the future growth of the church. My vision for the future, is to maintain a music program that both preserves the current standard of musical excellence and expands the program's scope to meet the needs of a congregation with varying and changing preferences in music styles. My vision includes three major themes: Excellence - Expansion - Engagement.
