First Baptist is a member of the Atlantic Baptist Fellowship, an organization of Baptist Churches and individuals formed in 1971 to enhance cooperation around issues like local church autonomy, ecumenism, ordination of women and traditional Baptist freedom around the interpretation of scripture. Kathy Reid back from Africa
Deacon Kathy Reid has returned from Africa where she was part of the mission of the Grandmothers to Grandmothers initiative of the Stephen Lewis Foundation in support of those suffering from the impact of HIV-AIDS.
