Induction Service First Baptist Church Halifax inducted Rev. Renée Clark as Associate Minister: CE on Sunday, September 27th. The Guest Preacher was Rev. Dr. Harry Gardner, President of Acadia Divinity College. The Exchange of Commitments was led by Ann Taylor, vice Moderator of the Halifax Region United Baptist Association and members and clergy from Association Churches attended.

Convention Incorporation Update
A committee of our local Baptist Association, Halifax Region United Baptist Association (HRUBA) through which we belong to the Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches (CABC) has submitted recommendations to CABC regarding the proposed incorporation of CABC in the current round of consultations.
