On Wednesday, October 21st, the First Baptist team built our 2009 Canstruction project in support of Feed Nova Scotia. A large map of Nova Scotia was constructed from cans of apple juice. Cans of tuna were then placed at locations where Baptist Churches can be found in our province. This highlights the 400th Anniversary of the Baptist movement, which began in Amsterdam in 1609, and the over 200 years of Baptist witness in Nova Scotia, which began in Wolfville in 1778.
Our team: Bryan Darrell, Paul Henderson, Gill Maling, Jason Naug and Ken Margeson, ably assisted by interested students from Citadel High.
Below are pictures of the "build" taken by Doug Eisner.
