In memory of Paul Blackman

First Baptist Church Halifax extends sincere sympathy to Clare Boyd and family in the loss of her brother, Paul Blackman, on December 20, 2005.

BLACKMAN, Paul Michael - 34, Moncton, N.B., formerly of Digby, passed away December 20, 2005, in Moncton. Born in Stockport, England, he was a son of Joseph and Margaret (Burrows) Blackman. Paul was born abroad, but lived his whole life in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. He graduated from Weymouth High School, then attended Trucking school and was working at Armor Transport in Moncton. He loved the outdoors, and time he spent at the cottage in Wallace with his family. He is survived by his former wife, Melissa Amero; daughters, Erin, Gillian, Meghan; son, Vincent; sisters, Clare (Anthony) Boyd, Seoul, Korea; Karen (Craig) Doucette, Weymouth; brothers, David (Natasha), Belliveau Cove; Kevin (Tiffany), Moncton; Martin, Weymouth; niece, Kristen; nephew, Peter; paternal grandmother, Anna Blackman, Athens, Ont. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Monique Breau, mother of Meghan and Vincent. He was predeceased by paternal grandfather, Edgar Blackman; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Anne Burrows. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Monday, December 26, prayers at 8 p.m. Monday, in Jayne's Funeral Home, Weymouth North. Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 27, at 11 a.m. in Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Plympton, Father John MacPherson officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery.
