First Baptist Church Halifax extends sincere sympathy to the family and friends of the late Hugh Knapton who died on August 1. An Ogan Builder, Hugh had taken care of our organ over the last several years and we will miss his friendly presence and professional abilities.

Hugh (Pipe Organ Builder) - Passed away suddenly August 1,
2007, in his 55th year. He is survived by his wife, Maggie Weir; daughter,
Shelley (Devon), Kingston, Ont., and sons, Robert and Bryan. He will be fondly
remembered by his sister, Maggie McLaren (Hugh); brother, Fred (Kim); nieces,
Darcy, Lindsay, Christine and Teagan, and nephews, Hugh, David and Matthew, all
of Kingston, Ont. He will be affectionately remembered by and was a son-in-law
of Janet and Ivan Weir, Lyndhurst, Ont. He was predeceased by parents, Fred and
Mollie Knapton (Kingston, Ont.). Friends and family are invited to a reception
to be held Sunday, August 5, from 1-3 p.m. at 3000 Connaught
Ave.
