In Memory of Minnie Morse

First Baptist Church Halifax extends sincere sympathy to the family and friends of the later Minnie Morse. A Memorial Service was held at the Church on the Feast of Epiphany, Saturday, January 6 at 11 a.m.

MORSE, Minnie - 87, Halifax, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 30, 2006, at home. Born July 17, 1919, in McCallum, N.L., she was a daughter of the late George and Charlotte Elizabeth (Poole) Blake. She retired in 1983 after a career in retail sales at Simpsons and the Bay. She is survived by sister, Lena Setter, Huntsville, Ont.; daughter, Sandra Tummers; grandchildren, Patrick and Kevin, who will sadly miss their grandma Minnie. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank; brothers, Freeman, Clarence, Peter, Maxwell, George and sister, Elsie. Minnie will be deeply missed by her son-in-law, Ed; her best friend, Barry Dragan, Nictaux; and her countless relatives, friends and neighbours. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, January 6, in First Baptist Church, Halifax, Rev. John Boyd officiating. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
