In Memory of Jack Stuckless

First Baptist Church Halifax extends sincere sympathy to the family and friends of the late Jack Stuckless. A Memorial Service was held at the Church on Wednesday, February 8 at 10:30 a.m.

STUCKLESS, Gilbert John "Jack" - Son of the late John and Alma (Cook) Stuckless, died suddenly at home on Saturday, February 4, 2006. He was born in 1935 in Bishops Falls, N.L. Jack is survived by his wife, Lorna (Huntington); sons, Todd (Margaret) in Vancouver; Matthew (Yevette), Adelaide, Australia; daughter, Leslie, St. John's; beloved grandchildren, Alexandra, Emily, Liam, Marcella; brothers, Wallace (Pat), David (Janis), Hugh (Mavis); sisters, Nellie Ledrew (John), Madeline Dwyer (Matthew), Lillian Warren (Whitfield), Marie Elliott (David), Jacquelyn Lewis (Tom), all in Newfoundland. He was predeceased by siblings, Thomas, Joan, Gower, Daphne, and a daughter in infancy. He was a long-time employee of the Bank of Montreal throughout various regions in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia; served as Branch Manager, Main Office in St. John's and New Glasgow, as well as District Manager of Newfoundland and Labrador, and retired from Commercial Credit in Halifax, Main Branch. Jack was a wonderful husband of 44 years and a proud, devoted father and granddad, loved and respected by both his family and his in-laws. He had a beautiful heart and was a true gentleman to all people. Jack was an adherent of First Baptist Church, Halifax, and will be remembered in a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 8, in the church with a reception to follow; no visitation by request of family.
