ABF Conference

The Atlantic Baptist Fellowship and First Baptist Church, Amherst, NS co-hosted a weekend celebration of the 400^th Anniversary of the Baptist Movement and the 200^th Anniversary of First Baptist Church, Amherst in Amherst on September 25-27, 2009.

Dr. Peter Paris, Elmer G. Homrighausen Professor of Christian Social Ethics, and Liaison with the Princeton University African American Studies Program, and a native Nova Scotian, was the keynote speaker.

In addition, two seminars were offered by:

• Rev. Dr. Roger H. Prentice, retired Acadia University Chaplain

• Alma Johnston, Moderator of the African United Baptist Association.
