Yellowknife United Church

Coffee Break with the residents of Northern United Place will start again on January 5th, 2012.

Membership Transfer – There are certain voting privileges that go with being a formal member of the church. If you would like to transfer your membership from another church to Yellowknife United, please speak with Rev. Peter Chynoweth.

Note from Stewardship:  In 2011, the United Church has already raised over 19 million dollars for its Mission and Service supported work!  This year your help is needed more than ever as the church works towards our financial objective of $30 million for 2011.  That goal is still over $10 million away with only six weeks until the books close in January.  You can donate through your church envelopes.  If you are looking for a Christmas gift, you can make a donation to the Mission and Service fund at the United Church website:  www.united-church.ca.

A MESSAGE FROM THE AFFIRM STUDY GROUP: Since March 2011, seven United Churches across Canada have celebrated their decision to join the ever-growing list of Affirming Ministries: Beaconsfield UC in Beaconsfield QC, Eastminster UC in Toronto, Parkdale UC and St. Thomas UC in Calgary, St. John’s UC in Sechelt, Comox UC in Comox, and  St. Aiden’s UC in Victoria.
