St. Anne's Christmas Bazaar

Please telephone if you wish to place posters/flyers around the area or need labels.
We will be positioning an illuminated sign in front of the Parish Hall to advertise the Bazaar. If you would like to contribute towards the rental cost, please call Michele or Eveline
Attic Treasures: Convenor - Michele and her helpers WELCOME your odds and ends. If you have any “treasures” you would like to pass along, please consider donating them to Attic Treasures. Jewellery, china, glassware, household items, blankets, linens, toys etc. are all BIG SELLERS. PLEASE - NO FURNITURE
Bake Table: Janet and her helpers will be managing this very popular table. Customers will be looking for breads, rolls, fruit loaves, pies, tarts, cookies, cakes, fancy squares, etc. In these days when food allergies are so common, please take the time to briefly list the ingredients in your offerings. If you need sticky labels, call the Church office for a supply.
The Book & Puzzle Room: Kelly will be running this room and will be looking for many donations. Books, recent magazines, complete puzzles, leap pads and educational materials would be very much appreciated.
Candy Table: Verna & Nancy will be looking for DONATIONS of all kinds of fudge, nuts and bolts, peanut brittle, gingerbread people, peanut clusters, caramel corn, etc. Left over Halloween candy would be very WELCOME for the children’s popular grab bags. If you could pre-package and label the ingredients of your candy, it would help greatly.
Christmas Cakes: Jane, Janet, Cathy, Suzanne, Eleanor. This table usually sells out early.
Christmas Puddings: Jane and Cathy have co-coordinated the making of our very famous Christmas Puddings.
Mincemeat: Margaret and Laurie and helpers will be making this delicious Christmas “goodie”. If you have time to assist in the making or bagging, please call.
Craft Table: Eveline and “The Craft Group” have been working throughout the year on various items, BUT THEY STILL NEED AND WELCOME ALL DONATIONS, especially for the Gift Baskets. Please call Eveline if you need assistance with delivery.
Decorating: Mary Jane does an excellent job and would appreciate your support.
Deli Table: Sandy will be in charge of the table. She would appreciate any EXTRAS from you such as casseroles, lasagne, macaroni & cheese, home-made salad dressings, croutons, meatballs, jellied salads, etc. (servings of one or more would be appreciated).

Flowers: Donations towards flowers or help in arranging them are gratefully accepted . Please call Angela
Kitchen Staff: Eleanor and Barb will be requiring your help in the kitchen with washing dishes, making tea/coffee and preparing tea plates.
Parking/Traffic Control: Angus and Sidespeople head up this group.
Pies: Eleanor and Barb.- fruit pies. Wendy meat pies and other entrees. Please telephone if you can offer your time or assistance.
Preserves: Jane will welcome the efforts from your canning and preserving marathons, whether it be chili-sauce, chutney, pickles, jams, jellies, marmalade or something new and just as wonderful.
Purchasing: Jane helps purchase items for the Christmas Cakes, pudding, mincemeat and pies. Call if you need help with other food items.
Quilters’ Table: Marjorie. This popular table will be well stocked with quilts and quilted items made by our St. Anne’s Quilters.
Set Up and Take Down: Dave. This takes place Thursday evening. Gentlemen, he will need your assistance. Bazaar convenors to clean tables for Table Cloths. Take down starts at 4:30 on Saturday, November 15.
Table Cloths: Jane, Friday morning (9 to 10:30 a.m.) Please call her if you can help.
Tea Room: Jeanne will be looking for waitresses and for donations of cookies and squares. Please give her a call if you can help in this area. The Sandwich Convenor, Fran will be looking for some help as well. Please telephone if you can assist with preparation of sandwiches.

Attention Kitchen users:
For those wishing to use the kitchen to prepare food for the Bazaar, please contact the office to book your time slot. The kitchen deadline for food preparation is 6 p.m. Friday November 14th. After this time the kitchen will be unavailable as it has to be disinfected for the following day.

Attn: Health Board Regulation:
1. Hands must be washed before working with food and each time you leave the kitchen.
2. When working with food in the Kitchen/Hall you cannot be eating or handling money because of cross contamination.
Please refrain from nibbling while on duty to keep things sanitary. Instead put
aside a small plate of your favourite goodies for break time. Thanks.
From the Crafters:
We welcome any craft items made by parishioners. We have a number of gift basket items, but can always used items for the following baskets:
Gardener's, Family (DVD, game, puzzle) and a Wine Lover's or Romantic Evening basket.
We are also in need of attractive, small to medium sized baskets, for our Hostess Baskets. Please note that bowls, flower pots and fabric or leatherette boxes will also serve as baskets. Donations of things for gift baskets will be accepted until Sunday, Nov. 2 and thank you very much for all your donations. Please call Eveline if you require pick up of items
