“I will make music to the Lord, the God of Israel” (Judges 5:3). 

Since 1853 the Parish of St. Anne’s (Byron) London, Ontario has made sweet music to the Lord. We are now inviting applications for the position of: Music/Choir Director.

The successful candidate will have a passion for ecclesiastical music in the Anglican tradition. S/he will work closely with our Rector to plan worship music for Sunday and special services and lovingly direct our wonderful choir with traditional and contemporary music. S/he must be proficient in organ and piano music and be willing to incorporate other musical instruments and multi-cultural traditions in our expression of our love of God. The successful candidate will be creative in searching out music for our broad range of congregational needs and desires. 

Salary range will acknowledge the candidate’s qualifications and experience and be consistent with RCCO Guidelines.  Although this is a part-time position, we hope our future music director might find a spiritual home in St. Anne’s where love and God’s blessings are on the move. 

Currently an average of 12-15 hours per week is required.
