Local Mission & Outreach
In the local area, St. Peter's is involved in sharing our time, talent and treasures with the following:
Adopt-a-Highway Programme Twice a year, a dedicated group of nine parishioners clean up both sides of Hamilton Road from Byron Ave to Elgin Road, a distance of over 2 kilometers. A necessary public service, it feels good to see the placard proclaiming that St. Peter's Anglican Church has not only adopted that section of highway, but has cleared it of unwanted refuse.
Bishop Cronyn Memorial Church - Tuesday Coffee House Once a week, two dedicated parishioners from St. Peter's travel to BCMC to help out at their coffee house, which provides fellowship and nourishment to the poor and homeless in the downtown core of London.
Dorchester Community - Cancer Sewing projects Since before the second world war, a dedicated group of ladies comes together on the first Monday of each month between 9:00 a.m. and noon to sew bed pads and lap blankets for cancer patients at the LHSC Regional Cancer Centre.
St. Paul's Cathedral - Daily Bread Food Bank Every other week, two dedicated, long serving parishioners attend the Cathedral in London to assist with intake and distribution of food to the poor and homeless in the downtown core of London. St. Peter's also has a hamper where non-perishable food items are collected and taken every other week.

National & International Mission & Outreach
On the National and International front, St. Peter's has been partnered with various churches to provide prayer partnership as well as resources such as parishioner's time, money and supplies.
The New Jerusalem Church of Fort Liberte, Haiti Our Parish Prayer partner, St. Peter's works with Pastor Andre and his team by sponsoring a week long Medical clinic as well as providing parishioners who travel in a missionary capacity, delivering much needed medical and food supplies, as well as donating their time to work in the clinic.
Primates World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF) The tremendous work of the PWRDF is highlighted especially twice a year. In January a soup lunch is held in the parish hall with all donations going to PWRDF. In May, one Sunday is dedicated to the work of PWRDF in the world and how locally sponsored projects are doing. Check out their website at: www.pwrdf.org
St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Province of South Africa The Diocese of Huron is partnered in prayer with the Diocese of Umtata in South Africa. St. Peter's is partnered with St. Barnabas Church, in providing prayer and support wherever possible.

2008 Mission Trip to Haiti
The 2008 Mission trip to Fort Liberte, Haiti took on special meaning this year as political unrest in Haiti made it impossible for the team to make the trek directly into Fort Liberte. Instead, a smaller team flew to the Dominican Republic and transferred much needed medical supplies, food and cash to Pastor Andre and Junior, a great friend of the team.
The supplies were emptied from the suitcases in which they arrived, into grainary bags that would make them less conspicuous. A great concern was held that if the bags were inspected at the border, they may not be allowed into Haiti. By moving them in granary bags on market day, they passed over with little or no attention paid.
The "failed" medical mission sent supplies and cash to the area that needs it so desperately, and while the medical team was not able to be there in person, they were all very much present in spirit and in prayer.
