Christmas 2008
At St. Peter's we have two Nativity scenes, one of which gets displayed on the front lawn of the church/rectory property. This year, we decided to stagger the arrival of all the guests, to build anticipation from Advent through to Epiphany. The weather was downright wacky from snow to rain and fear of drownings to sudden temperature drops. But all ended well as the Christ Child and eventually the Wise Men arrived. Thanks be to God!!
| Gathering in anticipation of the birth of Jesus, the Holy Family waits...
| Now where IS that Little Feller?
| He is born.
| And all were in awe at the sight of the Messiah, Emmanuel "God-with-us".
| The Holy Family await the Wise Men who have travelled from afar.
| Now the picture is complete!
| Welcome to St. Peter's Anglican Church! Please come inside and join us for Christmas!

| After Advent IV, the "wagon wheels" are attached to the lights and when lit on Christmas Eve, the sight is absolutely breathtaking.

Festive Sunday 2008 Despite a torrential downpour of rain, St. Peter's families gathered on Sunday the 7th of September to enjoy fun, fellowship, worship and a potluck barbecue. Many thanks to all who provided food, and our two hearty cooks, Peter & Caroline Trevitt, who did an amazing job on the grill!
| Caroline & Peter, intrepid barbecuers, braving the weather!
| Awaiting the triumphal entry of the hamburgers and hot dogs!
| Anticipation!
| What a feast!
| Let the clean-up begin!

The Stained Glass of St. Peter's Anglican Church
Several stained glass windows adorn the lovely space in the sanctuary, baptistry and nave of the church. The artistry and craftsmanship shows in each gorgeous detail. You are cordially invited to peruse the stained glass window that graces the interior of St. Peter's Anglican Church.

Harvest Home at St. Peter's 2008
Saturday the 27th of September the Altar Guild from St. Peter's decorated the Church and Gathering Space for our annual Harvest Home Service. The Church was alive with the sights, sounds and smells of thanksgiving. All produce collected was donated to Mission Services in London. The gentlemen who received the vanload of produce were overwhelmed with the quality and quantity given. The community of St. Peter's shares our gifts with the greater community and look forward to doing this again next year!

| Breathtaking view of the stairs to the Gathering Space.
| A lovely display in the front entrance alcove.

| The most powerful symbols of all, bread, wine and grape, the greatest gift in the Holy Eucharist.
| The stunning Baptistry.
| Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
| With the stained glass, the Coronation hangings and the abundance of produce, is it any wonder why Harvest Home is a favourite time for the folks of St. Peter's?
