Are you tired of religion bending to society's pressures?

The Lutheran Church in Kincardine strives to be faithful first to the Triune God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and also to His Church.  The message of Jesus Christ crucified for sinners is proclaimed in a way that does not excuse sin or downplay the purpose of God sending His Son to die for you.  The congregation gathers to receive God's forgiveness in the gifts that He offers in the historic liturgy of the Divine Service.

Grace Lutheran Church is located on Highway 9 just 2km east of the town of Kincardine.  On the beautiful shore of Lake Huron, the area is priviledged to host some of the most spectacular sunsets in the world.

The work of the Lutheran Church in the Kincardine area began in 1984.  Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church received its charter May 16, 1993 and was received into membership of Lutheran Church-Canada on May 22 of the same year.

Southampton Lutheran Church shines the Light of Christ as a beacon in the community.  In the midst of churches that compromise the Word of God for the dictates of society, here you will find a church that stands firm on the Holy Scripture, agreeing with the heavenly Father that we have sinned and cherishing the gift of His Son for our salvation.

At Southampton Lutheran Church you will find people gathered to receive God's gifts of forgiveness, life and salvation through His Word and the Sacraments it prescribes.  The Gospel is God's healing Word for all people at all times.  It remains faithful and true despite the changing pressures of society.

Southampton Lutheran Church is located at the corner of High and Victoria in downtown Southampton.  The building was first constructed in 1891 by a Methodist congregation.  It has undergone numerous renovations and served as a Baptist church, gift shop, restaurant, and "stone frigate" for the Sea Cadets.  The Lutheran congregation purchased and remodeled the interior of the building in 1996.  The original Gothic architecture and hanging brass lights were retained.

The Southampton Lutheran congregation began services in the summer of 1996 with the assistance of the Lutheran pastor from Kincardine.  The congregation was chartered in 1997 and officially became a member of Lutheran Church-Canada.  After being served for several years through part-time, retired, and borrowed pastors, the Southampton congregation became a joint parish with Grace Lutheran Church, Kincardine.
