Paid in Full
I dreamt I went to heaven one night
to stand before the Lord
the accuser of the brethren was there
laughing
making me feel small
he handed me a bill the list was long
Anger was there
so was jealousy and hatred
pride and envy followed
Unfaithfulness to God
lying gossip and slander were next
disobedience excuses
and fault finding were not left off
Many others were named
the charges were stacked against me
the debt was too high I could not pay
my head hung in shame
I saw satan’s sneering grin
the accuser of the brethren
thought he had won I was feeling lost
and all alone
I thought my destiny was complete
but then I realized I was wrong
I cried out Jesus I felt His Hand
on my shoulder I turned and saw
Jesus
He showed me His nailed scared hands
I new I had won
I looked in Jesus’ eyes
They were so full of love
He reached out a hand and took my bill
stamped it with His blood and marked
PAID IN FULL

The Chosen Path
I was walking one day
When I saw the path
I knew it was the same path
I had tried to follow
Many times before
Each time I started to follow this path
I would become tired
And I would leave the path
Only to find troubles
Lying ahead of me
I decided this time would be different
This time I would
Follow the path I started my journey
Soon to become tired This time I moved on
As I walked along the path I felt my heart grow lighter
Finally I could see the end
Of the path
Someone was waiting for me
As he held out his hand In a welcoming gesture
He spoke
Many times you have followed me
Only to get lost Come now
Walk with ME
Never stray again

One With You
Cleanse me Lord
remove all iniquities
from my heart
Refine me Lord
take me through the fire
and purify me
Create in me a new heart
a heart that is full
of love for You
Try me Lord
be near me
in deep waters
Search me Lord
and if there be
anything not of you
remove it Lord
Mold me Lord
and shape me
till Your work be completed
and I am one with You
