PASTORAL SELECTION

On October 25th, 2009 Cornerstone welcomed Rev Mike & Angela Gordon,  to be our new Lead Pastor.  Pastor Mike  begins ministry on November  11th, 2009.  Cornerstone is excited to welcome Mike, Angela and their three children, Kayla, Matt & Alyssa to Lively.  

CHILDREN'S PASTOR

Children are a very important component of ministry here at Cornerstone. Sarabeth Strathdee moved to Lively in January of 2002 to help establish a viable ministry to the children of our church family and community. Our goal is to assist parents in the biblical mandate to "train up a child in the way he should go" (Prov. 22: 6) and honour the commitment of this church to present God's word to people at their level of understanding.

Children are unique in their personality, capabilities and gifting. The teaching methods we employ are sensitive to these very issues. This ministry will endeavor to communicate biblical truth in ways that are relevant and understandable to each child. We recognize our responsibility to be good stewards of what God and parents are entrusting to our care.
