Janice's voice is usually the first one you hear when you call Evangel. She has been serving as Secretary at Evangel since December, 2001. She has extensive experience in Nursing and Health Care administration. Janice's retirement at the end of 2001 provided a unique opportunity for her to blend her healthcare and administrative experience with a desire to be involved in full-time ministry.
Janice is a native of Thunder Bay and has attended Evangel for more than 20 years. She has been involved in a wide variety of ministries in the church, including Boys & Girls Club, Choir, Sunday School, Alpha and the Singles Group.
Missions is a prime area of concern for Janice. She has been involved in every Missions Team trips that Evangel has sponsored, working not only on building projects and outreach activities, but also health-related ministry. On these trips, Janice has travelled to Costa Rica, Brazil, Ukraine, Equador and Venezuela, as well as various locations in the Northwestern Ontario and Manitoba region. She also spent time on a missions venture to Kenya where she assisted with healthcare in the Turkana region of that country.
