Our tithe is "accurately" giving back to the Lord that which is the Lord's - 10% of every part of our income. We believe our tithe will protect us financially (Genesis 14:18-20; Matthew 23:23) When we walk blameless before the Lord, we believe our integrity as believers will protect us financially (Genesis 17:1-2; Colossians 3:22-4:1; 1 Timothy 6:17-19) As we provide our offering - over and above our tithe - we believe the Lord will increase us financially - so that we can give generously to others. (Genesis 22:18; 2 Corinthians 9:6-8).
