Walkerton Pentecostal Church

Senior Pastor

Rev. Don Forrest

Don was raised in Hamilton, Ontario. He attended Eastern Pentecostal Bible College graduating in 1970. He met Rona Lee Halpenny from Arnprior, Ontario while at college, and they were married in 1970. They have two married daughters, Tammy and Jody. They also have four grandchildren.  Don and Rona Lee have served in a number of churches over the years and have been senior pastors at WPC since July 1999.

You may not know: He's actually really cool for an old guy and rides a sweet Harley! (Well, it looks kinda like a Harley...)

Youth Pastor

Dave Tarasko

Dave was raised in Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge.  Sharon and Dave first met roller-skating at the Forum in Cambridge way back in the day when they still had the Saturday night Christian roll-skating (ah, good times). Pastor Dave and Sharon both attended Heritage Bible college where Dave earned a Bachelor of Church Music degree and Sharon earned a Bachelor of Religious Education degree.  Pastor Dave served as the Music Director at Forward Baptist church in Toronto and Kitchener Gospel Temple before coming to Walkerton to work with awesome students.  Pastor Dave and Sharon have 2 daughters named Brooklynn and Kaitlynn (and they are growing up to be as awesome and both Dave and Sharon combined. Can the awesomeness be contained? Only time will tell!)

You should know: Pastor Dave and Sharon are both really awesome, even though they try so hard to hide it!

You may not know: Mary makes a mean chocolate chip cookie!
