CARE MINISTRIES - We offer a Divorce Care program with more information by contacting the church office. Lots of help is needed with our monthly Community Outreach supper and clothing depot.
MISSION GROUPS - First Baptist has many opportunities for people to grow in their knowledge of missions. Each group has a unique flavor and meet on a monthly basis.
LIBRARY - We have a wonderful library with excellent books and resources, such as videos and tapes. Please come in for a visit! Open Sunday before and after service, weekdays 9 - 12 as well as evenings when the church is open for other programs.
AWANA - During the School Year, your children are welcome to join us on Thursday nights from 6:15 - 8:00. This is a wonderful Outreach & Discipleship program for children. They will enjoy an evening of game and story time as well as working on Bible verse memorization. You can join this program anytime and it runs from September to April.
DISCIPLESHIP CLASS - We offer a special class for children who have made a commitment to Christ. They work together for 3 months in the book "Survival Kit for New Christians". It's focus is to help children develop their own personal quiet time with GOD .
PRAYER IS OUR TRUE WORK - Why not join one of these groups to undergird the Lord's work, tear down strongholds and to enjoy a time of Worshiping our Creator. We have an ever growing group of people availing themselves of these opportunities. We would love to have you join us.

God has truly blessed us with a wonderful leadership team who's long term commitment to this ministry is truly appreciated. Solid Rock Youth Ministries offer a wide range of activities for students in Jr. and Sr. High School.

COLLEGE & CAREER GROUP: This ministry meets on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 p. m. September - May. It's a vibrant group of young adults. Please email Chris Austin (paztorchris@hotmail.com) for more information on upcoming events.
SENIOR CHOIR - Our adult choir makes a joyful noise together every Wednesday night from 7:30 - 9:00. The choir presents special music at Christmas and Easter as well as beautiful weekly anthems. This is a vital part of our morning worship. The choir is always looking for new members!
WORSHIP TEAMS - Each Sunday our Worship Teams lead us in a special time of singing which includes choruses and music with a contemporary style using various instruments. If you play an instrument or like to sing please contact the church office for more information on how you can get involved.
HANDBELL CHOIR - If you can read music and would like to join this choir, please contact the church office 628-2111. The handbells perform in special services from time to time throught the year. |
