Connections Connecting to a church is a vital component of spiritual growth. Here are a few of the opportunities where you can become involved, get to know people, and deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ.
Two or three Sunday evenings are set aside each year to share a meal with newcomers and introduce our pastoral staff to them. This personal contact provides an opportunity to ask and answer questions regarding our church beliefs and ministries.
A personal relationship with Jesus Christ is our only hope in this world. This seminar is held several times a year for those who have made a decision to live a life of faith in Christ and so desire to be baptized. Salvation, baptism, membership and the Christian life are covered in approximately two hours.
We are called to be "Living In Faith Everyday." So spiritual growth is essential to do this. Our Sunday morning adult LIFE classes enable us to grow while building friendships. We have three classes each hour. The only difficulty is choosing which one to attend!
Small group Bible studies offer indepth study of God's Word and the building of deep friendships. Held once a week for approximately 90 minutes, time is spent studying the Bible together, sharing life experiences, and praying for each other. No group is ever full and new groups are being added regularly. The groups begin in September and go until April or May.
Each month, the men of the church gather for breakfast, conversation and learning. After a hearty breakfast, a speaker will present his God story. This is an excellent time of building relationships and hearing about what God is doing in men's lives. The Ladies' Coffee Connections provide opportunities for women to gather in an informal setting. Over coffee and a light lunch, women listen to special music, learn about a special feature, and hear the God story of a speaker. The Coffee Connections are Tuesday and Saturday.
