C. ADMINISTRATION

C.1 BOARD AND COMMITTEES

On its first meeting after the National Annual General Meeting in April 2005, the Board of Governors appointed the following Committees to run the affairs of your Society.

1. Executive Committee, chaired by the Board vice-Chair, Dr. Mary Khimulu

2. Finance & Administration Committee, chaired by Treasurer, Mr. Isaac Litali

3. Programmes Committee, chaired by Prof. Ezekiel Kasiera

The Executive Committee constituted the Promotion and Fundraising Committee, chaired by Rev. Pius Tembu.

The Programmes Committee in turn constituted the following Committees

1. Marketing & Media Committee, chaired by Mr. Frederick Kinyua and

2. Translation Committee, chaired by Dr. Josiah Ngige-Nguo.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Board and Committee members for their committed participation in all areas of Bible work. I especially would like to thank the Executive and Finance and Development Committees that have been able to meet without failure bi-monthly and quarterly respectively. Together with the BSK members and staff, we have been able by the grace of God, to touch the lives of many people in this country with the life giving Word of God. Our planning and implementation of our plans together has been a blessing to the Church of Christ in Kenya.
