Have you ever wondered why Jesus came to earth to save you from the power of sin? Well, let's talk about it. We are here to:

1. To share the saving knowledge of Christ Jesus.

2. To help empower you in the things of Him.

Too often people will accept Christ into their lives and still try to operate in things from their previous lifestyles (ways of talking, thoughts, places they went, things they did etc...) And when that happens, you hinder yourself from truly experiencing the wonders that comes
along with your  "new life". Think about it..........just as the scriptures say in Matthew 9:17, Mark 2:22, and Luke 5:37. It's very important for you to allow  "newness" to be deposited into your "NEW" life! Praise God!

So,the key is for you to  "allow" yourself to become new. And how do you  "allow" that to happen?...God already wants to do a work in and through you.But you have to allow him to do so by "yielding to HIS will and way of things."

There are going to be times that you may want to do something that He tells you not to do. Times that you may want to say something that He tells you not to say. And vice versa.....there will be times when He will tell you to do some
things that your flesh may not want to do. But you must be willing to do so
anyway! It's amazing the sacrifices that we will make to get certain things
in the natural. Of course there is nothing wrong with striving for those
things, but when become more committed to those things than to the things of
God, that's a problem.

Some Examples

Lets use getting in shape as an example. We will diet, excercise, refrain, restrain, or whatever it takes to get in shape in the natural realm, in order for our "outside" to look good. When our insides are decaying. We are up and down in our attitudes, happy one hour, and sad the next. We have all types of unfullfilled areas in our lives. And we are looking for and to all of the wrong things for that fullfillment. Only to find that yet again, it wont work!

Let me save you some time and heartache. True and lasting fulfillment is found only in
Christ Jesus. Thats why its important to accept Him into your life. Allow Him
to come and clean you up. You can't do it on your own. We all need His
help! Once you accept Him, and develop a personal relationship with Him. He has promised to never leave you, nor forsake you.

 Now, how many of us have heard that from friends and /or family? Yeah ,quite a few of us! But I can assure you.............this vow is true! He WILL NOT ever, leave or forsake us. The problem is, that often "we" attempt to forsake "Him". There are some people that when everything "seems" to be going ok in their lives. They take God lightly as well as the things of God. But as soon as they find themselves in a trying or challenging situation. All of a sudden they are ready to go to church, ready to pray, ready to hear a word from the Lord.

On the other hand there areothers that are faithful when everything seems to be going good, then they find themselves being weakened and turn away from God when they are faced with challenging and trying situations, b/c the enemy makes them feel as if God is not there for them. Not realizing that their trials are coming to make them strong.

Abundant Life

Both of these examples are tricks of the
devil. He does not want to see you enjoy the kind of life that is possible
in Christ Jesus. Read John 10:10. It is the devil's plot to steal, kill and
destroy you. But Jesus has come that you may have LIFE and not only life, but
life MORE ABUNDANTLY! Meaning you honestly can enjoy everyday
life!

Regardless of what situations or circumstance arise. You can still
have the peace that surpasses all understanding, joy,unspeakable
joy, strength and all of the other things that comes along with knowing that
you are connected to the Most High God!!!!!!!!! Study Gods word. Gods word is
very important. And obeying it is even more important. There are many who
have a "knowledge of the scriptures". In other words.............They know the
bible well, but they still do not OBEY what they know! And the bible
says that for him who knoweth to do good,and doeth it not...to him it is
sin. So, actually you are being held accountable for what you know and should do, but are failing to do it!

It also says that to whom much is given, much is required. So you are required
to do the things that you know are right. And not only are you required to
do so. But you are in love with Christ.. You should "want" to do those things!
