The Church of the Most Holy Redeemer's mission is to carry on the mission and work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This mission of the Lord is summed up in the gospel of St. Luke 4:18.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed,”

In our Lord’s earthly ministry there were four continual actions that fulfill this mission that is stated in St. Luke’s gospel. Through out the four gospels we witness Christ;

1.)  Preaching and teaching repentance from “SIN”and conversion to the gospel of the kingdom of God, a change of heart and mind concerning one’s on life and how we relate to our fellow man.

2.)  Healing the human person physically and mentally from all sorts of sickness and disease, and emotional trauma.

3.)  Liberating the human person from all forms of spiritual bondage resulting from the condition of sin and diabolical influence.

4.)  Feeding those that was hungry and in need (the miracle of feeding the five thousand etc.), and commands his followers to do same.

    Christ bestowed upon his apostles and there successors this same authority and power to continue on his mission. On the day Pentecost the church was born by the Coming of the Holy Spirit, the same Spirit, by whom Christ was anointed. Through the gift of the Holy Spirit the church continues her Lord‘s mission and work. All apostolate that are developed are extensions of this mission of the Lord through whatever gifts and charitable action that are preformed. By the grace of the Holy Spirit “The Church of The Most Holy Redeemer"will fullfill this holy calling.
