Mission Statement

It is the mission of the North Little Rock/Ft.Smith District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church to set a Christian Standard within each area that makes up the district, in the state of Arkansas and the Nation through a commitment to deeper study of the word of God, Devotion, Worship, Evangelism, Mission, Christian Education, Stewardship, Expository and Prophetic Preaching. Critical thinking and Reflecting theologically . We are called to minister to the needs of our members and the whole people of God.

About Presiding Elder Thomas G. Allen...

     Prior to being appointed Presiding Elder, I served as a pastor for 30 years.  I have served in six of the seven annual conferences in the Twelfth Episcopal district as pastor.  During my pastoral tenure, I have served on many boards and commissions from the conference level to the connectional level,General Conference Commission 1984-1988,  Over the years I have attended the following institutions for higher learning:
