Paul Williams, Senior Pastor

Paul considers White Hall home since graduating WHHS in 1988. He has family in the area and maintained a connection with First Baptist throughout his life. Paul has been married to Missy since August, 1993. They have three children; Mikayla born February 1997, Noah born December 1999, and Hannah born August 2001. Paul graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 1992. He earned a Master’s degree in Religious Education and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary of Fort Worth, TX in 1995. Paul has served churches in Arkansas and Louisiana in student, education, and administrative positions. He previously served as Minister of Education and Outreach at First Southern Baptist Church in Bryant, AR, before joining FBC White Hall as pastor in June, 2010. Paul enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, golf, and anything cultural.


   


Jim Monroe, Associate Pastor & Minister of Education

Jim met his wife, Ruth in Waynoka, Oklahoma, and they married in 1982.  They have one married daughter, Sarah.  He worked for 13 years as a computer programmer before attending seminary.  Jim graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1979, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana Tech University and a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Jim's primary responsibility is overseeing the entire education program of First Baptist, but is also responsible for keeping up with the senior adults, and maintaining the church website.  Jim enjoys geocaching, photographing headstones, and providing occasional comic relief in the church office.


   


Brandon Massey, Student Minister

 

Brandon and his wife, Kristi, married in 1995.  They have 3 children:  Kade, Zane, and Gage.  Brandon graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 1996 with a B.S.E. in English and Spanish.  He also graduated with a Masters of Divinity degree in 2003 from New Orleans Baptist Theological SeminaryBrandon has been at First Baptist since July, 2001.  His primary responsibility is overseeing the ministry to teenagers (7th-12th graders), which also includes ministry/training to youth workers and parents of teenagers.  In his spare time, Brandon enjoys rooting for his favorite team, the New Orleans Saints, making/editing videos, writing, and jogging.


   


Penny Dunn, Children's Minister

As a pastor's child, Penny felt called to Christian service in the seventh grade, but didn't know how a female could be a minister until she led backyard Bible clubs at Lake Chicot State Park and Connecticut during one college summer.  There she discovered her passion for teaching children.  She and husband Aubrey (Tiger) have 3 children:  Tyler, Aubrey Anne, and Daniel.  Her two bachelor degrees are in accounting and office management.  If Penny had any spare time, she would love to travel.  Her favorite trip was salmon fishing in Juneau, Alaska.  Penny was part-time children's minister at First Baptist starting in 2001, and became full-time starting September, 2008.


   


Bob Bailey, Minister of Worship

Bob grew up in Winona, Mississippi, and graduated from Ole Miss and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.  He and his wife, LeAnn, married in 1999 and they have two children:  Walker and Anna Grace.  Bob has been on staff at FBCWH since February, 2012.  He enjoys fishing and golf.


   


Robin Bolen, Church Secretary

Robin was born in Oregon and raised in California before moving to Star City as a teenager, where she graduated high school.  She has been married to W. G. since 1976, and they have two adult sons and three grandsons.  Robin has been our church secretary since September, 2010, as well as the White Hall Food Pantry coordinator.  She enjoys photography, scrapbooking, and reading.


   


Dianne Butler, Financial Secretary

Dianne was born in Bastrop, LA and raised in Pine Bluff.  She was married to the late Don Butler for 25 years.  They have two daughters, Cynthia & Anita.  Dianne has worked as secretary or financial secretary in churches for over 15 years.  She also had an extensive background in banking before that. 

Dianne's hobbies include going to yard sales and flea markets and reading.

   


Ruth Monroe, Part-time Secretary

Ruth spent her first 24 years in Waynoka, OK, until her husband, Jim (see above) moved her away in 1982.  Ruth graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University with a degree in business and a double minor in accounting & home economics.  She has worked in several church offices, and has been at First Baptist since April, 2008.

Ruth enjoys going to yard sales, sewing, and reading.
