While I encourage your students to pursue healthy relationships with other Christian mentors, please take note that only those college students mentioned have made the commitment and willingness to work under my direction and leadership. If your students are involved in activities with other adults outside of Park Hill Student Ministry please make sure that you monitor and take responsibility for the activities they are involved in.

Thank you for allowing me to partner with you in teaching, training, and preparing your students.

The new year has started with a bang. Thanks for all your help and support. I am excited to announce that Amanda Baker is now serving as assistant student minister with the primary role of ministering to the young ladies of our youth group. Below you will find a quick note introducing herself to those of you who have not had the chance to meet her.

In addition, the following college students are returning this year to serve as volunteer interns for our high school and middle school groups. Our high school interns are Renee Getsee and Sarah Cearly. They will be teaming up to lead the high school ladies small group.

Kimberly Carlton and Brittany Green will serve the same capacity with our middle school girls. Sean Dickard and Nate Peace will be leading are middle school boys small group.

Unfortunately for the young men, the high school guys group is stuck with me :)

I am excited that we have so many committed to helping lead our students. Each of these leaders has completed applications, background checks, but most importantly, they have committed to growing and modeling servant leadership.

Dear parents,

I would like to take a moment to introduce myself to those of you who I haven't met and also to express some of my thoughts about serving as the Assistant Student Minister during the upcoming year.

I am beginning my senior year at Ouachita Baptist University. During my time in Arkadelphia I have been fortunate to be a part of the Park Hill family and have had the opportunity to be involved with the youth group. I have

thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the students and spending time with them.

I am so excited about the upcoming year and trust that God wants to work mightily in the lives of our students. I have a great deal of confidence in Jason, Sarah, and the college leaders and have seen their commitment and willingness to be used by God. While I know this will be a fun-filled year, my prayer for our students is that they would grow in their commitment to follow Christ and

develop a deeper understanding of who God is. Please join me in this prayer!

In Christ,

Amanda Baker
