Christ's New Covenant Church

Hebrews 8:7- 9:15

Christ's New Covenant Church is located in Tucson Arizona.  We are a truly independent church, as were all the churches of the New Testament.  Our only Head is the Lord Jesus Christ and our only headquarters is in heaven. We fellowship with sister churches of like precious faith and practice.

Our Priority:  Above all we seek the presence of the only true God in our meetings. (1 Cor. 8:6), not the exaltation of man.  Thus we desire to glorify Him by means of reverent worship and especially expository preaching of the whole Word of God to all.  We desire to make all of our services interesting and meaningful for the believer's edification as well as those who seek the truth. (Matt. 18:20; Acts 2:42; 1 Tim. 3:15)

Expository Preaching:  The central part of each service is the expository preaching of the Word of God, that is what God means by what He has said in His truthful Word.  Hence the Bible, inseparably joined to the Holy Spirit, is central to the teaching and administration of the whole church, which is Christ's body.  This emphasis results in the exaltation of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 13:32; Mark 16:15; 1 Cor. 1:23, 1 Thess. 1:5)

Music Emphasis:  In our music, which focuses upon congregational singing, attention is given to both the biblical content and complementary musical quality of the hymns we sing. All Christians, what ever their musical ability may be, in being made alive to God (Rom. 6:11) have a "new song" to sing (Psalm 40:3). This expression should include praise, adoration, and sincere soul reflection. (2 Chr. 7:6; Ps. 33:1-3; Col. 3:16)

Prayer and Fellowship:  The reading of the Word of God (1 Tim. 4:13), pastoral prayer (Eph. 1:18-19; 3:14-19), congregational responsive reading (Ps. 136:1-26), are all integral elements of our worship service, directing our hearts toward God.  Monthly meeting around the Lord's Table reminds us of our only hope, the gospel of the sovereign grace of God thru Jesus Christ (1 Cor. 11:24-25).  The profession of faith in baptism by a new believer before the church is likewise an occasion of praise and thanksgiving before God.
