IMPORTANCE OF KNOWING THE NAME OF GOD

Psalms 9:10 says, "And those that know thy name will put their trust in You; for thou O Lord, hast not forsaken those that seek You".

This indicates that we must know the name of the Lord. It also infers a certain place of intimacy with the One who is known.

As we come to know the Lord better our level of trust increases, our prayers are empowered and we increase our pursuit (seek)of God.
