Deacon's Domain

Three times in September the alarm in the parish hall went off when I was trying to deactivate it so I could get ready for meetings.  Now this is not a simple ringing bells alarm.  NO! NO!   That alarm is a mind rattling, floor shaking siren blaring at full volume. When the alarm company called to see if there was an intruder, I could hardly remember my name let alone the code I was supposed to know so that they wouldn’t send the police. I sure hope it gets fixed soon. But should I look on what happened as significant for other reasons?
