October Events: Our “Read Around the World” event will begin this month! Children earn points and prizes as they read books and complete story pyramids. Race cars drive across a world map to mark their progress. This is to help keep the kids on track as they earn points for their reading accomplishments. The event will end with a celebration where children will receive prizes, certificates, pizza and a free book faire. Keyboarding class will begin this month as soon as the weather cools off and our Halloween Party is scheduled for October 29th. October’s E.E. lessons will feature bats and skulls.

November Events: November will begin with a variety of fall crafts to decorate our room in preparation for our 10th annual “Thanksgiving Family Feast.” We will also be continuing our keyboarding classes and Read Around the World program. November’s E.E. lessons will feature All About Pumpkins and possibly a field trip to Oak Glen.
