For Brasil, Prophecy: New Bishop is on his way...new one who will be permanent. Prayer for women priests to speak from Holy Spirit and that men will hear the priests as God's priests and not see them as women. The region is spiritually out of balance and we interceded for cults to be broken. Prayer for spiritual unrest in the country. Prayer intercession to stop the cultural infusion coming into the church and to turn it around so that the spiritual infusion goes out of the church into the population instead. Susan

| The Church in the Province of the WEST INDIES
The Proxy for West Indies, Grace, brought the following prayer points of concern for the Church derived from her research (which came primarily from the Provincial website, and from the fact she is originally from that Province and has recently returned from a short visit to family there). "The concerns we prayed for were: 1.) Social Issues, drugs and gangs, and we prayed for those things to be resolved. We brought forward the issues of drugs and lawlessness and asked for divine intervention in these areas. 2.) Youth a) the unchurched youth in the region that God would send labourers to helopl wit htheowrk of evangelizing so that this setor can be reached for Christ. "b) We prayed for the youth within the church that they would remain steadfast in service. 3.) "Other concerns identified by the Church were for the challenges of the young adults 25-40 year olds and 4.) the issues surrounding the family. 5.) "Poverty was another area that we asked God to intervene in. 5.) "(Also) Education in the Church- the task of making disciples. A thanksgiving was for the The Mothers' Union (a world-wide Anglican organization, except for the USA), with a membership in the Province of 400,000 and its work in the church since 1876. "Our prayers included the diocese of Jamaica and the Caymans, Belize, Barbados, the North Eastern Caribbean and Aruba, Trinidad and Tobago, and Guyana; the entire leeward and windward islands, both with French and Spanish backgrounds, like Martinique, St. Lucia, Guadalupe" In the discernment prayer, there was a sense of leading for Revival in the Church, and for a renewed and focused vision of Outreach, the Church "not being afraid to go beyond the wall of the parish churches." These things were prayed for and placed into the Lord's strength.

| Anglican Church of AUSTRALIA
The social issues and concerns that I brought for prayer for the Church of Australia were: 1. Missions and attendance to encourage the development of health and vitality of the church nationally. 2. Climate change - the dioceses have been asked to reduce their environmental footprint and to consider the impact of climate change in Australia and on the poor around the world. 3. Indigenous Australians - to seek a long term aproach to close the gap of the disadvantaged. 4. Drought - to explore the effects of drought on regional churches and communities and to provide much needed assistance where required. Our prayer team consisted of: Angelia, Grace, Susan and Cathie (proxy). While praying, Susan said she sensed difficulty in traveling to jobs and the problems it was creating in the family structure. She felt led to pray for avalibility of vehicles to these families for transportation. Due to the size of the country, transportaion was also a concern for the Bishops and missionaries to travel to the various churches and desolate, isolated areas of the "outback" to help people as needed. We prayed for the effects the drought is having on crops there and the availability of food and jobs

| Anglican Church of SOUTHERN AFRICA
The Proxy for Southern Africa, Angela, brought the following three prayer points of concern for the Church derived from her research (which included the Provincial website, an internet posted news article, and the Primate's installation sermon/address earlier this year). 1) continuing Social Injustice [the prayer team member who volunteered to pray for this prayed that despite apartheid being dismantled, there were still great prejudices, and asked the Lord to continue the dismantling. Prayer moved to a word of knowledge that there is a struggle between the government in its desire to initiate programs of "justice" (the new way) and those who want to do things "the old way", with not much room for a middle ground for headway. The team prayed for the Lord's ways and his wisdom and justice to be made clear for all.] 2) Poverty [the initial prayer team was selected just prior to the first proxy prayer, this one, "at random" by the rector. As it turned out, the prayer team member who chose to pray for the issue of poverty had a grandfather who was from Johannesburg. Not sure if that was informative or not, but she immediately began praying about land use .. and rain. She prayed that the Lord would direct the government and land owners in the Province to re-prioritize land use for the purpose of better agricultural gains, and thus assist those who are unemployed, or in menial urban jobs, to find provision for themselves and their families in agricultural pursuits; also thus beefing up a broader spectrum of ag business and related businesses. Rain would be needed to turn people's attention to have a hope for the land to have such prosperity. "They need rain", and so she prayed specifically for immediate rainfall.] 3) Violence [ will be back to provide more notes ] Sorry haven't got this all in yet, but there were a couple of "big" prophecies and visions for this Province, including the need for "more people" to minister, and a "broken spear".

| Anglican Church of CANADA
Robert was the Proxy for the Anglican Church of Canada. He was a member of this church for many years, so this was and is a subject close to his heart. After briefing his prayer team on the history and background of the Canadian Church, he brought 5 concerns for prayer.
1. There has been some concern and confusion over the Book of Common Prayer and the Book of Alternate Service, and which one is to be used in the Church and most Diocese. I have had working knowledg of both books, so I can see how a more modern prayer book has been favourably received by church members. The Prayer that I asked for was a Prayer to remove any tension or disagreement over the use of the two books, that the Church could come to a common resolution. 2. The second concern was that of ordaining women in the Church. I was present during the ordination service of the first woman into the Priesthood, Virginia Briant, in 1976, and had the pleasure of being a member of that church at the time, located at Burrard and Georgia in Vancouver B.C. I know that there are members of various congregations who feel deeply either pro or con concerning this topic, and for myself I know that women in the Church do have a place in robes, contrary to the Roman Catholic dictates for its church members. I was also privilaged to be a member of All Saints Ladner BC, who at the time just before I left to come to the USA, had recently brought on board a woman priest from New Zealand, who was enthusiastically received by the entire congregation. So I asked that this concern could be prayed for, that there was no need for disagreement amongst church members, and that as a Church, members should be adult to admit that after thirty years, Women have proven themselves in the ministry. 3. The third area of concern was one that is very dear to my heart, and that is the problem of inclusion of Gays and Lesbians in the Church. Initially let me say that I was present in Vancouver at several conventions during the discussions that took place that ultimately caused Bishop Ingam to eventually to take a stand with respect to same sex blessings in the Church. This is the same kind of controversey that has taken the Episcopal Church by storm and has caused irreparable damage to the church in both countries in the form of divided families, divided parishes and divided Diocese. As a proxy prayer on this topic, my prayer was one that we as members of the Anglican communion, need to hold our churches open to all members of the church, regardless of their sexual orientation. The church is there for all members who wish to confess their sins before God. It also goes without saying that I identify with Scriptures that clearly make reference to unions of adults and whom that union should be between. 4. The forth concern I believe or had identified is that of the Western Provinces of Canada about the number of parishes who now are providing same sex blessing or in fact marriages. I brought forth the concern that the Federal Government of Canada has acknowledged the union of Gays and Homosexuals, which in fact had made this topic a very dangerous concern for the church as much as it goes against the church and Gods WILL as mentioned in the Bible by his son, Jesus Christ. So my prayer for this concern was that Bishop Ingham, address this issue, stand up for the Church and its teachings and take a stand that he as an ordained Bishop of the Anglican Church of Canada take a stand against the directive of the Federal Government of Canada concerning this matter and direct the Anglican Church of Canada to deny any Parish or Priest in the Church to make or give same sex blessings. 5. The fifth concern that I brought forth was the damage that has occurred to the Church in the dealing with Native Indians in residential schools and the number of complaints the Church had regarding sexual misconduct by members of the ministry, as well as a loss of one diocese over bankrupcy . I asked that we pray for this concern, that there be healing in the nation over the matter, that the church has made amends, and that as a nation Canada needed to allow healing of this matter.

| Anglican Church of KOREA
The Proxy for Korea, Joyce, brought the following prayer points of concern for the Church derived from her research (which included the Provincial website, an internet posted news article, and the Primate's installation sermon/address earlier this year). It should be noted that it was prmarily focused on South Korea, and all very positive, and so our initial prayers were in the category of "More of the same, Lord!" But then, the question was raised as the prayer time commenced regarding North Korea. Checking the Anglican Communion website resources at hand, we discovered that both North and South Korea are considered part of the Anglican Church of Korea. This was especially important in the discerned prayers, as we turned to the Holy Spirit to inform us. A vision was shared, after we were finished praying, that during the discernment prayer of a dark cloud hovering over the northern part of S. Korea and all of N. Korea. But as we were praying for North Korea, and for a discerned spiritual warfare matter for S. Korea, the cloud was being pushed further and further north, revealing more of North Korea to the light of the Gospel. We agreed in Jesus' name for the accomplishment of that vision. During the discerning of the Lord's will for our prayers, a "picture" of some sort of more ancient Korean religious artifact (identified by its coloring and designs) and associated with the word "backbone" was seen attempting to rise up out of the ground. There was an anger connected to it and seemingly aimed at the amazing growth of Christianity in South Korea over the last 20 years. This was not a cultural issue; this was a matter of spiritual authorities. The anger and resistance and offense was rebuked and broken in Jesus' name, and prayers were offered for Anglican and all Christian leadership to pay close and watchful attention; and that the Lord would continue to bless the evangelism, the spreading of the good news of Jesus.

| The Church in WALES
The Proxy for Wales, Janet, brought the following three prayer points of concern for the Church derived from her research . 1) Employment 2) Denial 3) Outreach While we are waiting for Janet's report, one discernment matter that came forward from the Holy Spirit was the word that "the people of Wales are battered." We prayed, of course, that the Lord would release them from that, as we rebuked the Enemy (enemies) responsible. We also prayed for a fresh outpouring of revival.

| HONG KONG Sheng Kung Hui
The Proxy for Hong Kong, Rob, brought the following three prayer points of concern for the Church derived from his research (which included the Provincial website (especially issues gleaned from the Provincial 5-year plan), the Anglican Communion "tour" info, and the Primate's Christmas video of 2007). Fr. Eaton and Archbishop Paul Kwong were at seminary at the same time. 1) continuing need for clarity of mission, faced with the ongoing transition issues between Hong Kong as British (and Macau as Portuguese) and governance by China 2) continued concern for youth in gangs and related issues of : 3) violence and drugs In the discernment part of prayer there was a specific concern identified for Archbishop Kwong, and this will be relayed to him privately. Further, a word of wisdom was given that part of the re-firing of the mission and ministry for Hong Kong will come as the Church there allows missionary influx back from mainland China by Chinese nationals. The Anglican leadership in Hong Kong must not be resistant to this influx for reasons of pride or an ownership of Christian primacy. They will learn, as well, and return.
