News About St. John's
Christmas Bazaar will be held on Saturday, December 5th. The doors to Brandon Hall and the Bazaar will open at 9:00 a.m. and close at 1:00 p.m.
First Sunday after Christmas, December 27, 2009 is the Feast Day of Saint John the Apostle and Evangelist, Patron Saint of our church.
Christmas day falls on Friday, which makes our patron saint's day, Saint John the Apostle and Evangelist on Sunday, the first Sunday after Christmas. A special service is being planned, along with a festive meal to follow, to celebrate and commemorate of all of those who have helped these past 98 years to make this body of Christ we call St. John's parish what it is today.
Other important events will begin much earlier.
Our worship services are Holy Communion every Sunday, 9:00 AM, Morning Prayer every Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30AM and Evensong/Eucharist every Wednesday evening at 5:30PM.
