Follow the Star Casting Call - have you thought of using your gifts for this year's production? Let God use you and your gifts this year! There are some dates included for pre-production as well as the pageant itself. Dates range from Nov 28-Dec 14th. There are many ways you can contribute to the production: Set construction & design, Lighting & Sound, Flyer distribution, Costume Team, Cast member, Make Up Team, Caroling, Greeter Team, Child Care (for young children of cast and crew), Food Collection and Set Take Down. Please remember to fill out your Casting Call if you plan to participate, even if you think we know who you are already!

Meals that Matter - Wednesdays at 6:00 pm (Dinner) and 7:00pm (Studies)
Help the Children
Plastic and/or paper grocery bags and empty egg cartons are a welcome donation. Please bring them to church and place in the collection basket in the Worship Center, along with any food donations you would like to make.
If you would like to volunteer to help at Help the Children on a Saturday, please contact Nancy Tiegs to sign up. Bethlehem has been asked to fill volunteer positions the 1st Saturday of each month.
2009 Flower Chart - there are still a few dates left on the chart! This is a wonderful way to Glorify God, honor a birthday, anniversary or the memory of a loved one. Cost is $30 for the oversized bouquet. Flowers can be picked up to take home immediately after the 11:00 am service. Please sign up today!
Vons - We do need the actual card number to register your cards to support Bethlehem Lutheran.
If you need to find out your Vons club card number, you can call 1-877-723-3929 and they can give you the number. You can either call the office or email the number to us to register the card.
Ralphs – Please renew your committment to Bethlehem Lutheran (renewal must be after Sept 1, 2009)
Ralphs now requires their cards to be registered by the card holder.
You can do this online at
1. Go to www.ralphs.com,
2. Click on Sign In/ Register.
3. Click on SIGN UP TODAY in the new customer box.
4. Signup for a Ralphs account by entering zip code, clicking on favorite store, entering your email address, creating a password and agreeing to the terms and conditions.
5. You will then get a message to check your email inbox and click on the link within the body of the email.
6. Click on My Account and use your email address and password to proceed to the next step.
7. Click on Edit Community Contribution information and input your Ralphs Rewards card number.
8. Update or confirm your information.
9. Enter NPO number or name of organization (Bethlehem Lutheran Church and School), select from list and click on confirm.
10. To verify you are enrolled correctly, you will see your organization's name on the right side of the information page.
11. You have now completed your online rewards card registration AND your Community Contributions registration.
12. Click on logout at the top of the page.
Or….you can pick up a scan sheet from the church with a bar code on it. The next time you go to Ralphs and use your card, hand the scan sheet to the cashier and she will scan it with your card and it will link your card to Bethlehem. (this is the much easier option!)
WORSHIP/ PRAYER CARDS
We are asking everyone (one per family), both members and guests to fill out a worship/prayer card and place it in the offering plate each week. Please help us by completing the worship cards!
Make it simple! Bring in return address labels and put one on the card, then just fill out the date and time! It makes it very simple and leaves time to write your prayer requests on the other side!
