Join us this weekend as Fred Beach delivers a message titled "Faith in Action" based on Matthew 28:16-20.

"Red Letters" - in this series we focus on some of the poignant words of Jesus in the gospel of John. As followers of Jesus, expect to be challenged and blessed as we listen to and learn from Him.

Readings for the The Holy Trinity (The First Sunday after Pentecost are:
1st : Genesis 1:1-2; 4a; 2nd : Acts 2:14a, 22-36 and the Gospel is from Matthew 28:16-20.

ATTENDANCE/ PRAYER CARDS
We are asking everyone (one per family) to fill out an attendance card and place it in the offering plate each week. Please help us by completing the attendance cards!
Make it simple! Bring in return address labels and put one on the card, then just fill out the date and time! It makes it very simple and leaves time to write your prayer requests on the other side!

Hunger Defense
Needs: plastic and/or paper grocery bags and empty egg cartons. Please bring them to church and place in the collection basket in the Worship Center, along with any food donations you would like to make.

Please consider bringing in non-perishable food and personal care items for the collection basket located in the entrance to the Worship Center. Items collected will be dropped off at Hunger Defense Fund on Wednesdays. If you would like to volunteer to help at Hunger Defense Fund on a Saturday, please contact Nancy Tiegs to sign up. Bethlehem has been asked to fill volunteer positions the 1st Saturday of each month.

GIVING NEWS
eScrip Recycling Program! We now accept ipods and laptops!
This program is FREE and provides convenient collections of laser, inkjet cartridges,used cell phones, ipods and laptops while raising funds for Bethlehem! Please contact the office for more info at blcs@followthestar.com or 252-0622.
This is put into a separate Scrip account, not in the general fund. Please contact the office to register your cards! In addition to your grocery cards, did you know you can have your Macy's card linked to Bethlehem? Please contact the church office at blcs@followthestar.com to link your card! Visit our new GIVING page (link on the navigation menu) for all the ways you can support Bethlehem!

Santa Clarita Valley Pregnancy Center

URGENT NEED for RN’s @ SCV Pregnancy Center. Dept of Health requires an RN on duty at all times during clinic hours. We need YOU to volunteer and help us KEEP THE CLINIC OPEN during our regular hours.
Volunteer 4 hours per shift, 2 to 4 shifts a month; morning and afternoon shifts available. Call 255-0084 for more information.
