SEEKING THE ART OF LOVE AND COMPASSION
The path of an AVE! Goddess, or Isis Minister, is a path of attunement to the subtle inner "flow" of light and energy of Shakti, the Divine Feminine current that resides within us all. In the temples and sacred societies of the ancient world, an essential part of the training of the Goddess was education in the Art of Healing.
Through specialized exercises, they were provided with the knowledge of how to open their hearts to the Goddesses' powerful current of love and grace and skillfully channel it through their hearts, hands and eyes. These women would sit together in silent contemplation and open their awareness to the ebb and flow of the psychic-energetic-emotional landscape.
By transforming into the Goddess of Love and Compassion, or just aligning themselves to the essential light of their divine nature, the women would gain insight into the correct means for balancing and harmonizing the energies of those who came to them for healing and nurturing.
They would spend periods of time in seclusion searching within their own hearts and luminous energy bodies for any distortions of disturbances that needed to be healed and consequently released.
For these perceptive women knew that in order to become true healers they must first heal themselves. Leaving their earthly ambitions behind, they would dedicate their lives to the service of humanity. Fully actualizing the power of restraint, they spoke only when they felt it was necessary.
When they did so it was with great clarity of perception, their words designed to strike a responsive chord in the heart of the listener. For these sensitive women knew how to see beyond the physical eyes directly into the eyes of the soul. As they spoke, their eyes shone with an inner light, for their words came directly from the depths of their soul. They were so much in the flow of the divine radiant Shakti current of love of the Cosmic Mother that, to those around them, they appeared to be in this world but not of it.
Through the Mother's Grace, wherever they went, the environment was infused with light and love. For these loving and compassionate women, these priestesses of the temple of healing, were so in touch with the Divine Mother and hence their own divine natures that they could transmit the essence of this grace to others with a look, a gesture or a touch.
