International Social Investment Society
I. NAME This society shall be known as ISIS.
II. PURPOSE The purpose of FOL membership enrollment is to train the congregation, women and youth to be ISIS Ministers, i.e., "How To" get "face to face" with other members of the congregation FOR Peace, while inviting others to do the same FOR FUN & Profit! After a three month - two year Local/National vesting membership period, (depending on the program), FOL members are eligible to participate in and become apprentices, volunteers, employees and/or investor members of International, i.e., ISIS. The ISIS Society's Objectives are Nine-Fold: a) To organize & promote AVE MARIA! (divine feminine) Arts & Music Festivals and Spiritual Retreats; b) To organize & promote quarterly ISIS "Circles of LOVE" A B U N D A N C E ! "Spirituality in Business" Conferences; c) To identify, fund & manage a global outreach of networked World Peace Centers; d) To organize, film, market & promote a network of Sacred World Peace Pilgrimages and spiritual FOR Peace Workshop leaders; e) To identify, manufacture, market & promote a worldwide network of AVE! Co-Branded Products & Services; f) To recruit, hire & train a global team of "Community Development" ISIS Ministers; g) To recruit and support a global network of ISIS Financial Partners; h) To organize & promote ISIS Abundance "Circles of Love" Social Responsibility Investment Clubs; and i) To organize & promote a yearly ISIS "Overnight Prayer Vigil," global televised/teleconferenced AVE MARIA! Festival Fundraisin' Concert, and Mother's Day Convention in Egypt.
III. MEMBERSHIP FOL Chapters, Investment Clubs, Financial Partners and Church & Nonprofit Affiliates apply for membership and leave membership pursuant to FOL World Peace Ministries' Bylaws.
IV. DELEGATES Each member of the society is entitled to send delegates based upon congregational membership as defined in the FOL World Peace Ministries Bylaws.
V. OFFICERS The Officers of ISIS shall consist of a Moderator and Secretary/Treasurer appointed by the ISIS Investment Board.
VI. MEETINGS ISIS Officers shall meet annually in a regular session. Special sessions may be held at the call of the FOL WP Ministries' Board of Directors. a) A quorum shall consist of 33% of the member congregations being represented. b) All decisions shall be determined either by a majority of the delegates or by consensus.
VII. INVESTMENT BOARD a) Purpose It shall be the purpose of the ISIS Investment Board to carry out the policies and programs established by FOL WP Ministries according to the FUNDRAISING & INVESTMENT guidelines set out in its Bylaws. b) Members The membership of ISIS shall consist of the Officers and such other members as defined in the FOL WP Ministries Bylaws. In addition there may be staff employees who shall serve the ISIS Investment Board and its society constituency.
VII. COMMISSIONS/COMMITTEES Provision is made for the Commissions/Committees to be formed to carry out programs and specific assignments as defined in ISIS Investment Criteria Guidelines.
IX. HOLDING PROPERTY All FOL WP Ministries Church and investment property shall be held in the name of its ISIS, LLC Investment Club subsidiaries, "for profit" corporations and franchise partnerships. This includes real estate, monies, other properties, legacies and donations held in trust and used by the Church for its work.
XII. AMENDING THE OBJECTS The objects may be rescinded, altered or added to by extraordinary resolutions by a one-third majority vote at any meeting upon notice in writing being given of any such meeting 28 days or more previous to the date on which a change or changes are being voted upon. The proposed change or changes must be embodied in the notice calling the meeting at which they are to be balloted upon. For purposes of notice, an email address given at time of membership shall be sufficient, and if bounced, member's vote shall not be counted in the overall % of membership, even if dues are current. It is the responsibility of the member to keep current his/her email address at all times.
XI. BORROWING For the purpose of ISIS, the Executive may borrow money upon the security of assets of the Church, but only after the same has been authorized by resolution duly passed at a general meeting of active Board of Directors and members of the Church and upon notice of such intention to borrow has been given in the notice of the calling of the meeting.
X. DISSOLUTION In the event that this organization be dissoloved, all assets remaining after all debts and other obligations have been discharged, shall be given to non-profit, Federal Income Tax Exempt organizations devoted to charitable, educational and literary purposes which have FOR Peace programs and affiliations.
