Help to Co-Create and FUND the Humanity Channel!
The Humanity Channel is a nonprofit resource for individuals, churches and our nonprofit affiliates. Designed to "show the world" just where the need is and how they can fill it.
Recently in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, many gave to the Red Cross, which is of course a great thing to do, but having been on the scene as volunteers ourselves, our church knows that the Red Cross provided about 10% of the total help, as there were many valuable individuals and church groups that devoted the other 90% with their time and money, and are still there repairing and restoring the affected areas of New Orleans and the Gulf Coast.
Our Founder, having been a Chief Financial Officer and a native of the devastated area, is devoted to the mission of providing a place for volunteers to reside so they can be fed and housed, ways for donors to see exactly where the need is and how they can fill it, whether it be via time, money, or products and services that can help volunteer ministers FOR Peace!
One way to do this is via a media portal where media makers, volunteers, and those in need can express themselves with a voice that can be heard via the Humanity Channel!
