Background and Purpose of the Lay Leadership Institute

The Lay Leadership Institute of Fairfield Suisun Christian Center Ministries offers courses, and workshops designed to help Christian lay people become better leaders in both soul and spirit and to become more faithful in their —home, work place, church, community and world.

The Institute provides opportunities for you to learn the practices and disciplines of the Bible on becoming leaders in the Christian faith, to become the man or woman God has called you to be, to become a responsible steward, and to minister in the church and to the world.

Ongoing Programs

Among the ongoing programs at the Lay Leadership Institute are:

·        Developing Leaders Around You,

·        Ministry Training,

·        Spiritual Gifts

·        and Developing The Leader Within You.

These classes are offered as morning or evening courses in the spring and winter.  After completion of the 32 week program you will receive your certificate of completion and if you have completed two year internship with your local church you maybe entitled to petition for your ministers license.

Location

The Lay Leadership Institute office is located in the Fairfield Suisun Christian Center Complex, 315 Marina Center, directions where classes will be held will be given at the first session.
