The Reverend Juan Sarmiento has been QHPC's pastor since June 2003. After graduate studies at Fuller Theological Seminary (Intercultural Studies) and San Francisco Theological Seminary, he is currently pursuing a doctoral degree on the subject of Multi-ethnic/ Multi-Racial congregations. Juan has previously been the pastor of Portuguese and Spanish speaking congregations and has served the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A) as Moderator of our Presbytery, Commissioner to the 216th General Assembly and co-chair of our Synod's Committee on Representation. He is married to Maricela

 

 

Cameron Maus is a consumate musician, able to perform both traditional and alternative tunes with great excellence. In addition to accompanying, he works along side the church's Choir.
