God’s Love & Presence

“Beauty For Ashes.” To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes… Isaiah 61:3
Multiplied thousands of people have been hurt severely in their lives. They come from broken relationships or abusive backgrounds that are still producing bad fruit in their personalities. God wants to send the wind of the Holy Spirit into our lives (Acts 2:1-4). To blow away the ashes that are left from Satan’s attempt to destroy us, and to replace those ashes with beauty.

The Lord has taught me that consistently bad fruit comes from a bad root. No matter how hard or how much we may try to get rid of bad fruit, unless the root is dealt with, more bad fruit will crop up somewhere else. God created us to be loved. He wants to love us, He wants us to love each other, and he wants us to love and accept ourselves. Without this foundation of love and acceptance, there will be no joy or peace.

Some of us need to be transplanted. If we started out in the wrong soil, Jesus will transplant us so that we can get rooted and grounded in His love, as the Bible teaches. Know that you are valuable, unique, loved, and special. When this is your foundation and your root, you will produce good fruit. Ask God to give you beauty for ashes…

Say this: I was created for love. God loves me and wants me to love Him, love others, and love and accept myself.

What should I do when I’m hurting? … Forgive, in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes - 2 Corinthians 2:10,11. Most people know what it is like to hurt emotionally. Emotional wounding comes through various sources. Satan is the originator of our wounds, and he works through situations and people to hurt us for two major reasons.
First, he enjoys destruction, He wants to build a dam in our lives that consists of emotional wounds. Second, he wants to control our “feelings” the devil knows that when we have been hurt emotionally, we usually act emotionally. If he can hurt our feelings and get us to act accordingly, he will be able to keep us separated from many of God’s blessings.
We cannot expect never to get hurt. But we can expect to learn how to stay in control of our reactions to our hurts. We can expect to be the victor, not the victim.
Here are some things God has shown me we should do to overcome the devil’s schemes: First turn to the Holy Spirit, don’t run to people, second, remain stable during hard times. Third, remember that God is our vindicator, he will see that we are repaid for our pain and loss. If you are hurting, I exhort you, don’t fall into Satan’s trap; be the victor, not the victim.

Pray This: “ Father, whenever I am hurting, I will run to you. You are the only one who can comfort me. In Jesus Name Amen.”

Sincerely,

Setting some specific goals for yourself as a
Woman's Ministry Leader.

While deciding upon some peticular goals that you would like to see in the Women's Ministry with which you work is great, but as a leader you need to set some specific goals for yourself as well. You have to be the best person you can be yourself before you can be the best leader for others. Your leadership is a combination of all you do in your life, not just when your residing over meetings and committees. Take a deeper look at your life. What needs improving? What areas do you want to work and concentrate on? Don't try to overset goals for yourself. Just choose a few things to improve upon or implement at a time. Constantly working on yourself will reflect in the type of leader you are. Heres a list to get you thinking but, you need to evaluate your life and see what you need to set goals for. There are probably little sub areas in many of the ones listed that could be concentrated on as well...

Specific Personal Goal Suggestions.

.I want to be more organized
.I want to become less nervous and anxious when standing and speaking before our ladies.
.I want to be on time to each activity and event for my women's ministry.

.I want to be more in tune and communicate better with our pastor and church leadership about whats going on with the women's ministry program.
.I want to have genuine love for each lady in our women's ministry.
.I want to depend on God and not myself to accomplish my work with women's ministry.
.I want to have a positive impact on the ladies I touch through my work within women's ministry.
.I want to be an encourager.
.I want to work on being a better mother and wife to my children and husband.
.I want to work on eating healthy. Perhaps loose weight if needed, change your diet etc...
.I want to start and exercise program in order to stay healthy and fit.
