Welcome 101—An introduction to the Christian faith and to the St. John’s family of faith. The seminar is designed for people who are seeking an understanding of the Christian faith and this church. This is a great opportunity to be refreshed in the essentials of Christianity and is a safe place to ask questions. Purpose: To connect people with Jesus and His Word whether or not they choose to pursue membership.
Class 201—Discovering Church Membership. The seminar is designed for those who wish to join the family of faith at this church. It was designed to clearly explain who and what our church is that participants may form a commitment to Jesus and to the church. Purpose: To lead people to membership here at St. John’s.
Upon completion of these two seminars, participants have the
option of becoming members of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Class 301—Discovering Spiritual Maturity. This seminar is designed for seasoned members as well as new members who desire to grow in their faith. It focuses on four basic habits that every Christian needs to develop in order to grow spiritually.
Purpose: To grow people to spiritual maturity.
Class 401—Discovering My Ministry. This seminar is designed for seasoned members and new members so that each participant can identify God-given Spiritual gifts, Heart for service, special Abilities, Personality traits, and unique Experiences that S.H.A.P.E. one for ministry. Purpose: To equip people with the skills they need for ministry.
Class 501—Discovering My Life Mission. God desires all people to be saved and to come to know His Son, Jesus. This seminar is designed for seasoned members and new members so that participants are equipped to lead people to a saving relationship with Christ. Purpose: To enlist people to the worldwide mission of Connecting People with Jesus.
