Wendy L. Leu, LCSW, LMFT, CSPT, has served in the field of mental health since 1998. After earning her Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Denver, Wendy worked as a contracted social worker with the University’s Department of Gerontology in researching the relationship between caregivers and care-receivers. During that time, she also completed extensive training in direct clinical practice with individual, couples, and families at the Denver Family Institute and the Family Therapy/Play Therapy Institute, earning her Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Certificate in Play Therapy. Wendy opened her private practice in 2003 dedicating her life to helping empower people of all ages to establish both wellness and balance in their lives. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) in Colorado. Wendy is also presently the Social Work Program & Internship Director at the Family Therapy/Play Therapy Institute, and a caregiver/companion/case manager for an elderly woman in Denver. In addition, Wendy serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (CAMFT).
