On October 12, 2002, Rev. Rodney D. Palmer introduced for the first time to friends and family Mr. and Mrs. Tony McKinney!! Rev. Palmer married the couple at 1:30pm saturday afternoon in Hartly, Delaware.
This couple contacted Rev. Palmer on the monday evening of the 7th of October needing a minister to officiate the ceremony. Talk about last minute. The couple were scheduled to be wed by another minister but he was unfortunately unable to do so. When Rev. Palmer received the call from Tony McKinney that monday evening, he was more than willing to help this couple out. The friday evening before the wedding the reheasal was walked through and all of the last minute decisions were made. On saturday, with some last minute additions and subtractions to the ceremony, the couple said their vows before God and His witnesses and are now a couple who are looking forward to facing life together.
Let us all join together and include this newly married couple in our prayers.

On Saturday, October 19, 2002, at 1pm in Lewes, Delaware Rev. Rodney D. Palmer introduced for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. John Sowerby. The ceremony was held in the beautiful Zwanendael Park just a half mile off the Atlantic coast. Friends from as far as California attended the wedding.

Also on Saturday, October 19, 2002, at 6pm in Dover, Delaware, Rev. Rodney D. Palmer united Mr. and Mrs. Ryan Saul. The ceremony was held in a wonderful little chapel on the grounds of the Delaware Agricultural Museum. This ceremony was the first chapel service Rev. Palmer has performed in Delaware. The wedding, though small, was picture perfect.

On Saturday, November 23, 2002, Rev. Rodney D. Palmer joined together, as man and wife, Mr. and Mrs. William Kyle Vanover. The wedding, which was to be held on the twelfth floor balcony of the Stowawy Grand Hotel in Ocean City, was actually changed at the last moment to a beach wedding. No wedding could have had a more beautiful setting as the couple and Rev. Palmer, the bride's cousin, and two employee's of the hotel assembled on the deserted beach just before sunset. Although the weather was chilly, that did not deter the young couple to fulfill a dream of the bride's to have a wedding on the beach. Congatulations Kyle and Charlotte!!

On November 29, 2002 Rev. Palmer introduced for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Markland. The couple were wed at 6:45pm in Elsmere, Delaware at the Sheet Metal Hall. The Bride was given away by her sister. We wish all of the best for the new couple and pray that God blesses them and their family.
