THE ORTHODOX CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP AT FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY
"For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable." -Romans 11:29

In 1905, Florida State College became a women's school, called the Florida Female College.  by 1909 the name of the college was changed to Florida State College for Women, an institution which grew to become the third largest women's college in the nation during the 1930's.

On May 15, 1947, Florida State College for Women once again became a coeducational institution, assuming the title of The Florida State University.
