We Believe:
- The Bible to be the inspired, infallible, divinely preserved word of God, the supreme and final authority for all faith and life. (II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:21)
- That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30)
- In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ (John 10:33); His virgin birth(Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:35); His miracles (John 2:11); His vicarious and atoning death through His blood on the cross (I Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9); His resurrection (John 11:25, I Corinthians 15:4); His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 19:19); and His personal return in power and glory (Acts 1:11, Revelation 19:11)
- In the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation, because of the exceeding sinfulness of Human nature: and that people are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ and that only by God's grace through faith alone are we saved (John 3:16-19, John 5:24, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:8-9,Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5)
- That man was created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26) but fell into sin and therefore lost (Romans 6:23), and only those who put their faith in Jesus Christ alone, not trusting in any personal works whatsoever, can be saved (Ephesians 2:8-9, Isaiah 64:6)
- That the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict mankind; indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for godly living and service (John 16:13-14, Acts 1:8)
- In the spiritual unity of believers through common faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and that individual doctrinal differences which may exist, outside of the aforementioned, should not hinder the unity of the body of Christ - His Church (John 17:21, Mark 9:38-40, I Corinthians 12:3,13, 19).
