The Word Alive Woship Team leads the congragation into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise each Sunday.  Praise at our church (like the Word) is alive and jubilant!  Deaconess Carol Rich leads us in singing unto Lord with all we have.  There are also times of reverent worship - with upraise hands and bowed down heads. Our Pastor is also known to sing a hymn or too ^_^ !!!

The Women's department is lead by none other that our Co-Pastor, Martha Richardson. She fosters close fellowship among the women of Word Alive and delivers power lessons from the Word of God. Activities include:

To quote Pastor Tim Nail of Calvary Chapel " Pastor, how do you get nine people to sound like 900?!!!" Seriously, our choir has more that nine people but is still small compared to many other choirs. In this case, however, don't let size fool you. The Word Alive Christian Church Choir is a very capable group indeed. They have performed at churches in Pensacola, Milton and the surrounding area. Word Alive has also opened for the famous Gulf Coast Community Choir under the direction of Michael Brady. 

The choir new director is Deaconess Carol Rich with cameo appearances by Pastor Richardson. If you're serious about the Lord and singing/playing -come to Word Alive and lets sharpen our gifts together!

The usher department is headed by Brother Jackie Carter.  He heads a team that greets visitors and maintains proper order in the church.  Brother Carter also serves as the head of security. This job includes parking lot sweeps and being the "watch" as we pray. If this is for you - we have a place for you

The Youth ministry now known as Phase II is headed by Co-Pastor Martha Richardson, Deaconess Carol Rich and Sister Crystal Carter. It's a developing ministry with great potential.  We have several active parts which include

We also want the ministry to expand from the norm - We desire to train up a generation of youth who are young and unashamed of the Gospel of Christ. We're  working on a Seminiar on "Dating or Courtship" and "Becoming a real man/woman of God". Training the youth to live in Christ Holiness and to grow and experience it.

The Evangelism team is lead by Elder Calvin Barnes II. This ministry is designed to reach the lost and unchurched right where they're at.  The plea is not to get it right and come to Jesus but its rather Jesus is the only one who can make you right.  The evangelism team brings it where the rubber meets the road --- we all need Christ. They are responsible for tracts, door to door contact, and ministry samples (cd's and video media).
