It is more fearful to die without Jesus Christ.
If you deny Christ, He shall also deny you.
Without Christ, your only hope for salvation, you will die and spend eternity in a devils hell. You will pay the debt owed for your sin. This much worse than any persecution you could ever face.
When you receive Christ as Saviour, you inherit all of His precious promises. Those promises can be claimed by you in prayer for situations such as facing persecution.
Is being embarrassed worth going to hell over? Jesus came to save you from YOUR sin debt, a predicament that you are presently in. Without Him, you have no other hope of salvation.
