The Reverend Dr. Clinton Cottrell Pastor Pastor Clint is the senior pastor and head of staff at CLPC. Clint is a devout evangelical pastor who loves to preach, teach and share the love of Christ with others. Our pastor came to CLPC from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the summer of 2005 and holds a Masters of Divinity from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Trinity School for Ministry. Clint is currently chair of the Evangelism & Church Development Committee of our Presbytery and was a commissioner to the 218th General Assembly. He also has over 20 years of experience in federal service ranging from air traffic controller to being on the executive staff in Washington, DC. Clint has 4 children (the oldest, Laura, an ordained Presbyterian Minister) and has been married to his childhood sweetheart for over 32 years. Pastor Clint's e-mail address is Clint@clpc.us.

Karen May Office Manager Karen serves as our office manager and is the "go to" person for anything involving the church campus or activities in the church. Karen joined our staff team in the summer of 2005 after a decade and a half of service with the federal government. Karen grew up in the Presbyterian Church and currently lives in Cape Coral near her mother and adult son. Karen's e-mail address is Karen@clpc.us.
The Rev. Dr. Hal Simones Pastor Emeritus of Visitation Pastor Hal is a remarkable friend of the congregation, having retired as a Pastor from the Disciples of Christ. Pastor Hal is a perfect example of how ministers never retire, but just slowly change the way the serve the Lord. With an engaging smile, a warm heart, and decades of experience, Pastor Hal is an incredible gift to our congregation.

Christian Education
Ginny Canning is our director of Christian Education and is responsible for the Disciplemaking (Christian Education) aspects of our church family, handling the development of our Christian youth.
Julia Neal Director - Safe Haven Julia has been with Safe Haven School virtually since its inception at CLPC. A devout Christian, and a true lover of children, Julia leads our school be it VPK (a school program whereby the state helps subsidize a preschool program for prekindergarten aged children) or the other traditional preschool programs. Julia has a Bachelor's degree and is currently working on a Masters in Leadership from Hodges. Julia is also licensed by the state of Florida to lead our program and is ready for the growth that lies on the horizon. Julia would love your e-mail: Julia@clpc.us.
The Rev. Helen Heffington Parish Associate Pastor Helen is a long time friend of the congregation and an ordained minister with years of experience. Helen not only possesses a Masters of Divinity but also is a licensed attorney with a Juris Doctorate. Helen has a wonderful heart for the Lord and for God's people, and is especially gifted in spiritual and pastoral care.

Rachel Carrier Director of Worship and Music Rachel comes to us from Dayton, Ohio where she has led music, drama and Christian education, having years of experience in leading church growth by serving Christ. Rachel has a remarkable voice, is a gifted pianist, but most importantly, has a contagious enthusiasm for Jesus Christ. She would love to hear from you at Rachel@clpc.us.
Steve Gardner Director of Praise Like contemporary praise music? Steve is your guy! Steve is the director and point of contact for the adult and youth praise teams. He is a multi-talented professional, proficient with guitar, piano and voice. He has a never ending smile and positive mental attitude, while sharing a remarkable Christian demeanor. Chuck Barnhill Sextant/Custodian Chuck is a "born again Christian" on a mission serving the Lord at CLPC. Chuck can be seen every day of the week wearing headphones, humming Christian music or listening to sermons, and all the while, cleaning our huge facility. Chuck is truly the miracle worker behind the scenes for without him, we could not use our beautiful building!
Douglas Parker Organist Douglas is a classically trained musician with a Bachelor's degree from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, as well as considerable graduate work beyond the Bachelors level. Douglas is quite comfortable in playing everything from Handel to Bach, but yet can sit down and "play by ear" with the Pastor Clint for "Just a Closer Walk" or with a jazz group. When he sits down at the "mighty Allen" he sure can bring people to the edge of their seats! He is a devout Christian and is well loved by our congregation!
